When I opened it, I noticed a piece of transparent gel, which was in the coffee had dripped. On closer inspection it seems that a couple of handfuls transparent gel (silicone gel consistency transparent), place the rubber gasket.

In addition, there were a number of specific black water - could notSay if they had coffee or residue of the manufacturing process. I Do not Mind The specifications as much as the black gel - do not know what it is. I wondered if it was clean and new, or when it is only part of the manufacturing process.

So, I'm going to go to another store and check it before you return or exchange.

I do not think that the inner pot is made of stainless steel - So what's the point? The button on top is plastic. It works, but if you're after a high-quality material, this can not be right for you. The handle is covered with wood, which add a nice rustic feel and makes it easier for you to handle the stove, which is a good feature.

I was not sure about this product if I pulled out of the box. But to my pleasant surprise this is a great product. Does not drip or leak. The top grip strength. My husband thought the coffee tasted great. We both thought the basket of ground coffee losses would be like a madman, but he has not.
